For the past two years, the Sports Surgery Clinic has entrusted us with organizing its annual congress. In 2025, we successfully orchestrated the 8th edition of the Sports Surgery Congress, a must-attend event dedicated to the latest advancements in sports medicine. This year’s edition, themed around tennis, was held at the Faculty of Medicine at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital. It brought together internationally renowned speakers (surgeons, physicians, physiotherapists, and researchers) alongside two distinguished guests of honor: Jean-Marc Jancovici, a leading engineer and climate expert, and Renaud Lavillenie, Olympic pole vault champion. Their unique perspectives enriched discussions at the intersection of medicine, performance, and sustainability. Throughout the day, two lecture halls hosted continuous presentations, while the main hall provided a dedicated space for networking with sponsors. The 2025 edition attracted over 500 participants, 39 French and international speakers, and 31 sponsors, solidifying the congress’s reputation as one of the year’s premier medical-sports events.
